
The design of the pink flamingo, one of the symbolic beauties of Cervia, has been presented to CSIT Managers during the executive committee meeting in Olympia, Greece.
A funny pink flamingo dressing the CSIT t-shirt and standing out on a blue horizon – the official color of AiCS: the elegant animal, as well as a symbol of the Saline of Cervia, will be the official mascot of the CSIT World Sport Games, the world amateur games hosted by AiCS and promoted by The International Workers and Amateurs in Sports Confederation, which will be held in Romagna from the next 5th to the 10th of September.
The games will be officially presented immediately after Easter but in the meantime the organization is going ahead and currently involves several partners: the WSG are in fact organized by AiCS, with the collaboration of ACSI, Emilia Romagna Region and Cervia Municipality. The initiative is also sponsored by the municipalities of Cesena, Cesenatico, Ravenna, Forlì, Misano Adriatico and Riccione, where the sport competitions will take place.
The official mascot together with the “workin progress” of the organization, has been presented to CSIT the last 25th of March, in Olympia, Greece, by the organizing committee of the “Emilioc” Games, represented by the Vice – President of AiCS, Maurizio Toccafondi and by the General Manager of the WSG, Fabio Neroni. The CSIT Executive Committee met during the last weekend from the 24th to the 26th of March in Greece, whose municipality Lutraki has just won the assignment of the next WSG in the 2025 edition.
